Carole Ramsey

Carole Ramsey is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) currently working in the fields of Chronic Condition Management and lifestyle counseling. She holds a MA from Lenoir-Rhyne University, a BA in Psychology from Liberty University, and an AA in Early Childhood Education from Asheville Buncombe Technical Community College.

Carole has long had a passion for working with children and families and has worked as a pre-school teacher, an elementary school assistant teacher, and served on a church staff as the Children’s Ministry Director. It was during this time that she became better acquainted with Becky Lloyd as they served together on a church committee. Out of this shared experience a strong friendship/mentorship formed.

In 2013, Carole felt God’s call to counseling, specifically counseling women and families in crisis. Thus began her journey to complete her education and licensure requirements in order to fill this call.

It was in 2014, when Becky invited Carole to attend Show Hope’s Empowered to Connect Conference in Washington, DC that Carole was introduced to the world of foster care and adoption on a more personal level and a new passion was born. At that time, God planted in her a desire to come alongside families in a supportive role to provide education, counseling, and a safe space to navigate the often-challenging waters of foster care and adoption. She continues to prayerfully consider what this means and how God will choose to use her in this arena as she pursues further training specific to the needs of this population.

Carole is excited to serve as the Project Manager, Counselor/Consultant and Advisory Board Member for Signs for Hope and see how God uses this connection to further His plans in her life and in the SFH ministry.
